The main focus of BM Wild School’s Adventure Camp is having fun in a safe but ‘wild’ environment. We provide intimate small group sizes led by experienced instructors with a focus on a range of core adventures, skills and leadership development.
We fish, mountain bike, make campfires and play hard. We build forts, practice orienteering and way finding, swim and camp. We bird, track deer and paint. We run wild in the forests, fields and rivers of our beloved Blue Mountains, developing happy, self-confident and skilled adventurers.
If you have a little adventurer that’s yearning to have a fun, productive and engaging summer than this camp is for you!
- Mountain Biking - for 9 and up. Must supply your own bike
- Paddle Boarding
- Arts and Crafts
This is a backcountry program and ensuring your kids have the proper gear will make their experience more enjoyable. You don’t need to break the bank, they will be travelling, so think about keeping the weight of their packs as low as possible and that they fit well with plenty of padding.EQUIPMENT LIST
We are a mobile camp located in the Blue Mountain's region. We do not limit ourselves to one location but take advantage of the incredible locations that our backyard has to offer. We choose our destinations based on the theme and activity that we are engaging in as well as the days weather.
Due to Covid we require parents to drive to our various locations - the farthest of which is 25 minutes from Collingwood and 20 minutes from Thornbury. We send out an itinerary, with program locations prior to the start of each week at the beginning of each week. We ask that parents remain connected with us to learn what happening each day.
Our policies will involve protocols for parents measuring their kids temperatures daily, drop off procedures, hand washing procedures, protocols for staff contact with students and their equipment, smaller cohorts (groups) that have no interaction with other cohorts, protocols for equipment handling, etc. Most of this will be behind the scenes and students won't need to be concerned with it.
Parents should note that by enrolling your children in any day camp you are increasing the size of your bubble, that there is still risk of Covid and that they should restrict their socializing during the days your children's are registered for camp and for 14 days afterwards.
Please contact us if you would like to review our detailed Covid policy.SEND AN EMAIL
