WILD Fridays are the perfect addition to your child's development.

Using a multi-faceted approach, WILD Friday students spend the majority of the day outside, building relationships with their peers, learning adventure skills, and interacting with our fantastic staff of outdoor educators, adventure guides, and wilderness therapists.

Students of all capabilities and experience are welcome.

Practical learning promotes better knowledge retention and WILD Fridays are the perfect way for your child to develop and execute valuable life skills. Our focus is on fostering self-awareness, resilience, and empathy in our students.

We focus on giving your child the following experiences:

Building relationships with their peers through group activities & reflecting on their behaviour.

Learning adventure skills such as orienteering, fire building, hiking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing.

Learning the value of their connection to earth via meditative practice, play and discovery, and acquiring plant and animal knowledge.

Fridays at Blue Mountain Wild School from 9:00am to 3:30 pm.

What age range is this program right for?

The Wild Friday program is designed for children attending JK/SK to Grade 6.

Tuition and Cost:

  • Semester 1 (Sept. 9 - Dec 23, 2023):

  • Semester 2 (Jan. 13 - Mar. 10, 2024):
    $650.00
  • Semester 3 (Mar. 31st - June 16th, 2024):

What Are Your Winter Safety Guidelines? Can They Stay Inside On Very Cold Days?

We prioritize student safety and well-being in all weather conditions, including winter. Our winter safety guidelines include dressing appropriately for the weather, staying hydrated, and taking regular indoor breaks when necessary. We closely monitor outdoor conditions and adjust activities accordingly to ensure a safe and enjoyable learning experience for all students.

What Do You Do For Safety If There Is A Thunderstorm / Lighting / Forest Fire?

We prioritize student safety and monitor weather conditions closely. In the event of severe weather or forest fires, we follow established safety protocols, including seeking shelter indoors and communicating with families as necessary.

What Is The Response Time For EMS / Fire / Police If There Is A Serious Emergency?

We have established protocols and emergency response plans in place, and emergency services can typically respond within 20 minutes in the event of a serious emergency.
